Global Aerospace, Inc. Announces Appointment of Sharon Holahan as Director of Claims and the Retirement of Kevin Hilliard
Parsippany, New Jersey—Global Aerospace, Inc. is pleased to announce changes to the management of our U.S. Claims organization. Effective April 1, Sharon Holahan is appointed Executive Vice President and Director of Claims and has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Global Aerospace, Inc. Sharon will report to Jeff Cassidy, President and Chief Operating Officer of Global Aerospace, Inc. and Stephen Walsh, Group General Counsel. Sharon is currently Co-Director of Claims and assumed her new role upon the retirement of Kevin Hilliard.
“Sharon brings a wealth of experience in handling complex claims and litigation matters and has served as the Company’s Deputy Director of Claims from 1997 – 2011. She will lead an exceptional team dedicated to high quality claims services to our clients. I also want to thank Kevin Hilliard for his outstanding service to our Company and our clients over the past 32 years” stated Jeff Cassidy. Mr. Hilliard will continue to work closely with Global’s claims team on a part-time basis.
Ms. Holahan joined Global Aerospace in 1984 and has held a series of management roles within the Claims Department, most recently as Co-Director of Claims. She is a founding member of the International Aviation Womens Association and a current board member and has been actively involved with a variety of other industry activities. Ms. Holahan is a member of the Bar of New York and New Jersey and a private pilot.
Mr. Hilliard joined Global Aerospace in 1979 as a claims attorney in the Home Office. In 1985, he was assigned the responsibility of supervising all product liability claims and in 1988 became Director of National Accounts Claims. In 1994, Mr. Hilliard was appointed as Director of Claims.
