Global Aerospace, Inc. Announces the Following Changes to Our U.S. General Aviation Regional Office Network

Parsippany, NJ – Global Aerospace, Inc. is pleased to announce the restructuring of our U.S. General Aviation Regional Office Network. The strength of Global Aerospace lies in its unique blend of talent and experience. These qualities are enhanced by our ability to effectively coordinate our people and geographically balance their expertise.
    
Effective April 1, 2012, the following changes will take place within our General Aviation Regional Office Network:
        
  • The Southeast, Southwest and Midwest Regional Offices will join together to form a newly created Central Zone. Bruce Wahlen and Thomas Hubbert will be retiring effective March 31, 2012. Nicholas Methven will assume the role of Central Zone Manager reporting to Marilena Sharpell, Executive Underwriting Officer. Nick Joined Global Aerospace in 2003 and has performed in a variety of roles within General Aviation, most recently as the Southeast Regional Manager. Each of the three Central Zone offices will remain in their present location. Mike Pechloff will assume the role of Vice President in the Dallas office. Jon Riemenschneider will remain as Vice President in the Chicago office. Mike and John will both report to Nick Methven.
  • Frank Turtola will assume the role of Northeast Zone Manager.
  • Timothy Boland will assume the role of West Zone Manager. The states of Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico will move from the Central Zone to the Western Zone.
  • Kenny Rains has also announced his retirement effective March 31, 2012. Jack Chisholm will assume the role of Vice President, Aeroinsure Manager reporting to Marilena Sharpell. Rick Underwood will be promoted to Vice President,  Aeroinsure Product Line Manager. In his newly created role, Rick will work closely with Jack while developing Aeroinsure products and services and focusing primarily on client relationships.

Marilena Sharpell stated, “We are very grateful to Bruce, Tom, and Kenny for giving Global Aerospace many dedicated years at the helm of their respective offices. We wish them all the best in their retirement.”

These changes play to our strengths, sharpen our product offerings, and provide our team members with the opportunity to fulfil their individual ambitions. Global Aerospace will continue to refine the roles and responsibilities of our staff to ensure that our talent is deployed in the most effective way for the benefit of the organization and our people.
