Global Aerospace is Please to Announce the Following Changes to the West Coast Regional Management Team
Parsippany, NJ (November 3, 2010) - Global Aerospace, Inc. is pleased to announce that Tim Boland (VP, General Aviation Underwriting), will join the West Coast Regional Office underwriting team on January 3, 2011. Tim will work alongside Rick Davis (SVP, West Coast Regional Manager) and assume the role of Chief Underwriting Officer for the West Coast Region until Rick’s retirement from his position on April 1, 2011. Tim will then assume the duties of West Coast Regional Manager. Rick will continue on with Global Aerospace supporting the West Coast Regional Office as a Consultant until April 1, 2012.
At the time of his retirement, Rick will have completed a 40 year career in Los Angeles with Global Aerospace and its’ predecessor company Associated Aviation Underwriters (AAU). Rick joined AAU in 1971 and was appointed as the Los Angeles Branch Manager in 1978. Rick comments that at the end of his rewarding career he is “pleased to pass the baton to the capable hands of Tim Boland and the outstanding Los Angeles underwriting, claims, and support staff.”
Tim Boland has been with Global Aerospace as Vice President of General Aviation Underwriting since June 1, 2010. Tim brings 14 years of business and general aviation underwriting experience to Global Aerospace, having performed in a wide variety of underwriting and managerial roles during this period. Tim’s most recent assignments include Branch Manager for Commercial Lines for AIG, Regional Vice President, Aviation, for Travelers Insurance and Underwriter, Airlines for Allianz Insurance Managers.
