Rachel Barrie

Rachel Barrie joined Global Aerospace in October 2007 as an Airline Underwriter. She was promoted to Underwriting Manager in 2013 and then Underwriting Executive in 2014.  In 2020 Rachel took on the role of Group Chief Underwriting Officer before being appointed Group Chief Executive in 2022.  Rachel has over 18 years’ experience in aviation insurance. Prior to joining Global Aerospace, Rachel worked as a Placing Broker for Willis after completing the Willis Graduate Programme. Rachel holds a degree in Management and is a Chartered Insurer.


Jeffrey Bruno

Jeff Bruno was named President and Chief Underwriting of Global Aerospace, Inc. in April 2015. He has over 30 years of experience in insurance, reinsurance, and aviation insurance. He joined the company in 1988 and has served in multiple underwriting roles throughout his tenure. Jeff graduated with honors from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a degree in economics and holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and the Certified Aviation Insurance Professional (CAIP) designations. Jeff is a type rated airline transport pilot with over 5,000 hours of logged PIC experience and maintains single, multi-engine, and instrument flight instructor certificates.

Michael Bannon

Michael Bannon joined Global Aerospace in February 2009 and was appointed to his current position in January 2022, having previously served as Chief Operating Officer Europe. He has over 40 years’ experience in the aviation insurance industry. Prior to joining Global Aerospace Michael worked for AIG Aviation and spent the first half of his career on the broking side of the business.

Daniel Turner

Daniel Turner joined Global Aerospace in May 2021 as Head of Claims in the UK and was then promoted to General Counsel & Head of Claims, UK.  He is a qualified solicitor and prior to joining the company was a Partner in the aviation team of a prominent international law firm.  He has notable experience handling complex claims and litigation in multiple jurisdictions, accumulated over a 20 year career.  In addition to managing the UK claims function, he is actively involved in many of the most sensitive and complex losses involving our clients.


Sharon Holahan, Esq.

Sharon Holahan joined Global Aerospace in 1984 and has served in multiple claims roles throughout her tenure. She was named Executive Vice President Global Head of Complex Claims in 2021.  Previously Ms. Holahan served as Director of US Claims.  She is a member of the Board of Directors of Global Aerospace Inc. and a member of the Global Aerospace Group Executive Committee.  She has the oversight responsibility for complex matters across all of the offices of Global Aerospace. Ms. Holahan is a founding member and first president of the International Aviation Women’s Association. She is a past Chair of the American Bar Association’s Aviation and Space Law Committee of the Torts and Insurance Section. She has been selected for membership in the International Who’s Who of Professionals in Aviation and is a member of the International Academy of Defense Counsel.

Ms. Holahan holds a Juris Doctorate and is a member of the New York and New Jersey Bars and is a private pilot.

Rachel Priester joined Global Aerospace in February 2022, as Senior Vice President, Head Claims, USA. Rachel has over 12 years’ of insurance experience. Prior to joining Global Aerospace, Rachel held numerous positions with CNA Financial and The Hartford. Rachel has broad expertise in commercial, specialty, and personal lines insurance coverage and litigation. Rachel began her career in a Connecticut law firm, where she worked on complex commercial litigation.

Rachel obtained her A.B. from Harvard College and her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. She has been a member of the Connecticut Bar since 2005.

Alan Tasker

Alan Tasker assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer from the start of 2022 and has responsibility for Finance and Information Technology.   Alan was previously the Group Chief Financial Officer from the formation of Global Aerospace in 2001.  He joined British Aviation Insurance Group in 1997 and has long years of experience in financial management positions in insurance firms, including several positions with Prudential Group, one of the UK’s largest insurance groups. Alan is a mathematics graduate of the University of Bristol and trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.


John Kelly

John Kelly joined Global Aerospace in 1998 as Chief Financial Officer and was appointed Executive Vice President, Operations and Chief Financial Officer in April 2015.  John has over 30 years of experience in financial management positions within insurance firms, including positions with The PMA Group, Commonwealth Mortgage Assurance Company and Arthur Young and Company. John graduated with honors from Drexel University in Philadelphia with a degree in Accounting and holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations.


Michael Falcone

Mike Falcone joined Global Aerospace in March 2002 as Senior Vice President, Chief Actuary and was appointed to his current position in April 2019. He is primarily responsible for supporting the quantitative functions of the group including planning and monitoring. Prior to joining Global Aerospace Mr. Falcone was based in London as the Chief Actuary and Executive Director of Crowe Syndicate Management from 1999-2001. Mr. Falcone earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics in 1991 from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. Mr. Falcone holds the designation of Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS).
