Marketing & Communications Assistant – Morris Plains, NJ

This role will provide administrative support to the Marketing department, support additional departments within the organization as required and operates on a hybrid work model (3 days in the office and 2 days working from home). Further duties and responsibilities are listed below:

  • Provide comprehensive support and assistance with day-to-day activities, exercising judgment and creativity.
  • Support team by assisting with production of client presentations and customized marketing material, as needed.
  • Assist with production of internal quarterly company newsletter, The Insider.
  • Support sharing internal communications via Microsoft Teams.
  • Responsible for editing and updating companywide contacts used for marketing initiatives and general press release distribution.
  • Coordinate and assist with vendor management, ordering and distribution of products from the Company store.
  • Assist with tradeshows and seminars by assembling and coordinating exhibiting requirements, presentation material, arranging travel, and shipping logistics, etc.
  • Social Media Support: assist with posting on social media channels, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • Tracks and provides reporting on email marketing campaigns and social analytics.
  • Assist with various marketing initiatives and ad-hoc requests.
  • Support cross-functional team in the administration and development of US Wellness program.
  • Cross departmental support as needed (expenses reports, etc.).

Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Skills/Experience:

Required:

  • Proven track record of administrative and marketing experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced MS Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers.
  • Solid analytical skills to compile data and report on Marketing campaign results.
  • Ability to organize details and complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. (trade show prep)

Desirable:

  • Email marketing/social media related experience
  • Experience in graphic design and WordPress
  • Adobe Creative Suite:  Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Constant Contact, SharePoint, and Teams
