Job Title: Technical Underwriting Support, Operations

Volume: 80% to 100%

Reports To: Operations Manager

Job purpose: To support the Operations Manager (OM) and the team in the domain of underwriting documents, general administration, and project support.

Key Accountabilities
• Pre-underwriting work (submission, risk analysis, pricing)
• Accompany, conduct and administrate renewal process on specific clients or portfolios
• Issuance of quotes and policy wordings
• Issuance of certificates and invoices
• Enter, maintain and quality control data in Merlin and other databases (spreadsheets etc)
• Entry underwriting policy data and endorsements
• Support the Operation team with premium encashment
• Support the OM and BM in preparing documents, presentations and events
• Support premium credit control process including monitoring of endorsement and adjustment premiums
• Giving relevant information to clients on the phone and via email
Skills and Knowledge
• Commercial apprenticeship in the financial services sector
• Proficient language skills primarily in German AND English, French or any other language clearly an asset
• Practical computer skills in MS Office programs
• Ability to work on own initiative within set parameters
• Ability to work on multiple projects and under a set time schedule
• Confident understanding of relevant software/systems and keyboard skills
